US lawmakers agree Big Tech companies have too much power. On Nov 3, 2020 — After spending 16 months investigating Amazon, Apple, Facebook and Google, the House Judiciary Committee's Democratic leadership said that these BigTech companies have abused their monopoly power, stating they “ had turned from “scrappy” start-ups into “the kinds of monopolies we last saw in the era of oil barons and railroad tycoons[1].”Ninety percentof public opinion agree that these companies have too much power and in fluence.
What companies are concidered big tech? These companies are also known with such names as Tech Giants, Big Four, Four Horseman, Big Five, or S&P 5. These companies are the largest and most dominant in the information andd technology industry in the United States, namely Amazon, Apple,Google,Facebook and Microsoft. The Big Techs are legal organizations. Some are for profit and some not for profit. They are inherently neither the less good or bad. to me it is the owners managers who make the decisions as to how they use their resources and how they manage their companies.
On the one hand they are important for the overall economy. Because of their tremendous wealth they can conduct research and develop new goods and services for the benefit of all. They offer more job opportunities and stability, higher wages , better health and retirement benefits.
This wealth and power can also be used in negative ways such as controling the amount of valuable information for both sides to decide a fair reasonable outcome. Should they make decisions for us or should we the people?

Well the story of Tommy’s Team™ begins this way. I was raised by a single parent, a widower as I lost my father at a young age. I am myself divorced and also became a single parent. I am also a senior and a grandparent. I did not have a particular hard life but I had many challenges and I had to work very hard to achieve a certain amount of success. Because of my situation I knew what it meant to not have certain things and that I was missing out fromnot being part of a complete family unit. There are many people in this world with similar situations.
Throughout my life I have always tried to help people in any way I can and I think we all feel better if we can help others. We all want Peace, Joy and Happiness. This can beachieved in many different ways, such as being part of a solid family unit, having success in life and work, great friends or just being satisfied.
