President Trump has been charged with missconduct while holding public office by members of Congress. This process of impeachment must pass the both houses of congress. This process is started by a majority of the votes of the House of Representatives and eventually must receive two-thirds of the votes of the Senate in order to win the favor of impeachment. An offense that is cause for someone's impeachment can be called an impeachable offense.
The point is a desire to remove President Trump from public office and possible disqualification from holding further office. The purpose of impeachment is not personal punishment; rather, its function is primarily to maintain constitutional government.
There are four legal reasons for impeachment: The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors. Presendent Trump is facing criminal charges for enticing a seige of the US Capital. President Trump is the first president to be impeached twice. Three other President were also impeached but only Presendent Trump was impeached twice.
President Trump denies accepting any responsibility for the violence at Capital Hill. He stated his defence was involving free speech only and he did not incite a riot. in my opinion there is not enough proof and besides he is no longer holding office.
